High pressure cleaning is used to clean tough exterior surfaces like roofs, paving and in some instances garage doors. Also known as hydro-cleaning, this is an effective and safe way to clean outdoor surfaces with water propelled at high speeds to clean the surfaces. High pressure cleaning is ideal for removing paint from walls & metal, sealants and membranes from paving and concrete and removing flaky paint and moss from roofs amongst other things.
If you want to paint your roof or seal your paving, the old layer of paint or sealant need to be removed beforehand and doing this by high pressure cleaning is the most effective way to do so. High pressure cleaning works by combining high pressure with a high water flow, to remove dirt from surfaces. There are different types of high pressure cleaning equipment, including cold water and hot water high pressure cleaners. A hot water high pressure cleaner is considered a bit more effective in removing dirt such as grease and grime, but for every day domestic use we make use of industrial cold water cleaners. Please note: The smaller domestic high pressure cleaners is not strong enough to clean roofs and paving.
Not only is high pressure cleaning an environmentally friendly way to clean tough surfaces, it does not require chemicals or detergents to complete the job. A lot more water is saved cleaning a tough surface by high pressure cleaning, than by scrubbing away at it. Basically all that is required for a high pressure cleaner to operate is a constant flow of water through the equipment.
High pressure water machines can be set to different settings, from delivering a strong jet stream of water to spraying water for rinsing applications. At PROPAINT we do high pressure cleaning, contact us today for more information or a competitive quote.
